Seiko recently brought out a new range of divers, model numbers SRP773/775/777 AND 779
These where loosely based on the vintage iconic 6309-7040 and 6309-7049 divers which are sought after by many Seiko collectors, great value for a quality watch, another one Seiko got just right :)

The 6309 as the name sugests has the 6309 automatic movement where as the new SRP range is powered by the 4R36 movement, automatic, hand winding and hacking, two nice extra's if you like that sort of thing, I do :) size wise it is slightly bigger than the 6309s, this one also has the signed "S" crown supplied by 23-59.

Having already TST'd 6309s, 7548s, 7002s, 7C43s and SKXs the new SRP was the obvious next step, too me anyway.

The picture below is my SRP773 and the first one to have been TST'd after making new holding/machining fixtures.
